The bedrock of inside's iconic collection is from Modernica, the California-based manufacturer responsible for the revival of the George Nelson Bubble Lamp, the classic 1950 Fiberglass Arm Chair, and Case Study daybeds, couches and shelving. Our upholstered furniture is available in a multitude of our fabrics, including Maharam and DesignTex, and we offer 7 wood finishes. We are also an authorized dealer for the Cherner Chair, designed by Norman Cherner in 1958 and still regarded as one of the most dramatic designs utilizing the technology of molding plywood. Cherner Chairs are made in the United States with much of the original molding techniques, but incorporating the latest computer technology to trim the molded components, in a company owned by Norman Cherner's sons. We are also pleased to offer limited edition, 100% sustainable pieces such as the Bamboo and Steel Butcher Block table and the Vertebrae line from Factory 1 Design studio in San Francisco.
